PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING STAFF:
6 licensed psychologists (7 including the Director); 1 licensed social worker; 2 licensed part-time consulting psychiatrist

COUNSELING SERVICES OFFERED:
intake and assessment; crisis intervention: individual and group counseling/psychotherapy (limited); referrals to private
mental health services; self-help and web resources; workshops and presentations; training and consultation for university
faculty/staff.
We are also a clinical training for graduate students in social work and psychology (including an APA-accredited internship).

CLIENTELE:
American University students, Consultation/training is provided to university faculty/staff and to student's families.
