Guidelines to achieving high quality
University and college counseling services have played a vital role in higher education for many years. In the last 40 years, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of campus counseling services and the multiplicity of functions that are performed.
Guidelines were first developed in 1970, and have evolved over the years to reflect and address changes in the field. IACS Standards continue to be reviewed and revised as needed to ensure maintaining the highest level of quality guides all our efforts.
